Richard graduated from Georgia Tech in 1967 with a degree in Industrial Design, product exterior design to fit environmental concerns, surfaces, and textures.  After four years in the Air Force he returned to Florida to take the reins of the business where he grew up, Tamiami Tile, the enterprise his father started in 1938.  After 50 years of steering this ship, Richard decided it was time for the younger generation to take the helm and orchestrated the sale of Tamiami Tile to Jason Bundy.   Richard remains actively involved within the organization where he continues to mentor and share his knowledge and experience with the entire staff.
